The General Assembly of the AUF (Asocación Uruguaya de Fútbol) formed the Uruguayan Professional League on 29th April 1932, featuring the 11clubs that remained in the first division after 1931.On 11th May 1932 CA Capurro and Olimpia FC merged into CA River Plate, leaving 10 clubs in the league. This book features the rules and regulations of the newlyformed Professional Uruguayan Football League.
