Thewell-illustrated book summarizes the history of the famous Cheb football club from its establishment in 1952 until the bitter end in 1996. It focuses mainly on the period of the 80s and the first half of the 90s, with sixteen long seasons interrupted by only one relegation in the first Czechoslovak and then Czech league. A number of extraordinary personalities of Czech football passed through the club in the likes of Karel Kolský, František Plass, Dušan Uhrin, Jaroslav Šilhavý, Jozef Chovanec, Miroslav Kadlec, Michal Bílek, Tomáš Skuhravý, Ivo Knoflícek, Radek Drulák, Pavel Kuka and many others.
