The book / album was published to commemorate the 50th anniversary of ARA LA GANTOISE (Nowadays known as KAA GENT) which is one of the oldest still surviving football clubs in the world !! They currently play in the Belgian first division.
This book is in my knowledge also the very first ever 50th anniversary history of a soccer club published anywhere in the world !!
As far as I know this is probably one of the oldest existing soccer card albums in the world. The album is in near mint (for its age probably mint) condition and complete with all 16 cards.
As the club was omnisport there are also some cards featuring athletics, tennis and cycling.
