The "HISTORY OF CAMPISTA FOOTBALL" by Paulo Ourives is a meticulous work that took the author over fifteen years of in-depth and detailed research, spending days and days poring over the vast archives of the Campista Sports League and the now-defunct Fluminense Sports Federation, as well as a survey of newspapers from Campos, Niterói, and Rio de Janeiro, published from 1912 to the present day. Now a historian of our football, he went even further by gathering testimonies from influential figures in Campista, Fluminense, and Brazilian football, which greatly enhanced his work.
