Excellent well-illustrated complete record of the 1947 Mexican tour of Ferencvaros in 1947.
Ferenc Puskás of Kispest and Ferenc Szusza of Újpest in the same team! Moreover, in Ferencváros!
This line-up - which from today's point of view would only be conceivable in a football manager game - could actually happen in reality thanks to a manager blessed with brilliant organizational skills, Dr. József Berke, on the FTC's 1947 Mexican foray.
As a result of the negotiations with Újpest and Kispest, Ferencváros, which was embarking on the Mexican tour, set off with three loan players, the striker trio of Puskás-Szusza-Mészáros, in order to successfully enhance the reputation of Hungarian football in the Central American country.
