Beautiful artwork commissioned by the club to celebrate the opening of the new stadium on 30.5.1953.
Guarani FC was named after the opera “Il Guarany”, composed by the Maestro and wellknown classical composer Antônio Carlos Gomes. This opera was based in turn on a novel with the title “O Guarany” (about the Brazilian indians) by famous Brazilian writer José de Alencar. Both were born in Campinas, Brazil.
The artwork features A.C. Gomes, the Guarany indian and José de Alencar aswell as the badges of Guarany FC, the CBD, F.P.F. and the Liga Campinense de Futebol.
